Michael Sargeant

Managing Director

Michael joined Lawrence House Fund Managers (formerly Pharon Investment Management) and Pharon Independent Financial Advisers (formerly Pharon Insurance Brokers (Life and Pensions) in January 1987.

He has held various roles within the group, becoming Managing Director of both companies in January 2004.

Prior to joining Lawrence House and Pharon, Michael was with Lloyds Bank from 1968 to 1977, merchant bankers Samuel Montague & Co from September 1977 to November 1983, and the Herne Bay Building Society, until it merged to form the Kent Reliance Building Society in April 1986, from November 1983 to December 1986.

Michael was instrumental in founding and managing Pharon's advisory Unit Trust Service in 1987 and subsequently developing and managing the discretionary portfolio management service since its launch in 1994.

Michael has an MBA from the University of Kent at Canterbury, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and a Fellow of The Securities Institute
